Ayes i replaced mono for an older version now the compiling went ok but i get the next error wen i start the server

I had to move some files like log4net in the main dir

I checked the etc/sunuo.xml several times but the paths are correct

what are the correct file permissions for the files in that folder ?

maybe this is the problem

Also i know linux is case sensitive i found that in some versions of uo the files like tiledata.mul are written different like Tiledata.mul TileData.mul or just tiledata.mul i renamed to every option and tried to start but got the same error

Try to
chmod 0700 tiledata.mul
or
chmod 0777 tiledata.mul
however if it's located in a non-ext partition you cannot change permissions.
In the past I had my UO installation in a windows partition so it was a common problem having no permissions or total permissions but now I don't use windows anymore.

Oh by the way: 0777 is not a good thing to do because it give every permissions to everyone.

shouldn't that be 127.0.0.1:2593? since that is the ip of localhost ( or even just localhost:2593), using either of those should allow you to login

0.0.0.0 mean listen to all IP but it may give problems if the server pc have multiple sources (a wire lan and a wireless lan for example) or for routing problem (access from local lan or from outside world). Also a firewall problem may forced Vince to bind the server to that specifical address. Again: if you run multiple servers you may wish to bind them to different addresses.
Anyway 0.0.0.0 is the best choice for standard configuration (one server, one source, lan and/or world).
