New here, a couple quick questions

Postby greywolf79 on Wed Oct 08, 2008 5:48 pm

I am familiar with Runuo but new here to Sunuo. I was wondering a couple of things...

1. Is the newer version of Sunuo compatible/equiped with the quests and other stuff of Mondain's Legacy?
2. How compatible is SunUO with RunUO 2.0 version scripts?
3. What languages can be used to make scripts (items/creatures/etc) for SunUO?

For point 1 and 2 it's not possible without handmade modification because SunUO is a fork of RunUO version 1.1 and it's focus is on core implementation then add stuff like Mondain's Legacy things.
As far as I know there is no one which worked on this.
For point 3 I'm a bit confused: if you are uset to RunUO you should know the language is C#. Maybe you don't know, as told you before, that SunUO is a fork of RunUO.

For point 3 I was not sure if other language support had been added. I know RunUO supports both c# and VB, just curious. Thank you for answering 1 and 2 though.

You are right, RunUO support also VB.net.
I was thinking only to C# because I never seen anything wrote in VB.net for RunUO. And I hope there is nothing at all wrote in VB.net.
