My Computer being used is a P4 1.6GHz with 512MB RAM and a 40GB HDD. I am hoping to get the server (version 0.5.0) running soon on the OS of my choice (which is mentioned before) Debian.

Hi there, I was wondering if you could help me. I am having problems with what seems to be mono 2.x. This app seems to be written for 1.2. Most of the current distributions dont have 1.2 on the repositories. I have another post on this board describing the problem I am having if you don't mind taking a look. I am thinking I need the 1.2. That being the case.. how do you get that particular version on to something like centos5 or any of the newer distros? I am not as familiar with the centos type of OS as I am the debian types of linux.. no idea how to install the package, etc.. so any direction or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I am a fan of clarkconnect.. just havent used the command lines much. that clearos looks great too. anyway.. I'm just trying to get it to work... and am a slightly above novice linux user.

thanks in advance for your help.
